This is the second unit – of five – which make up the City & Guilds 2365 – Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures).

This Level 2 qualification is designed for new entrants to the industry. For aspiring electricians not already started on an Electrical Apprenticeship, not yet in a job working in the Electrical Industry, or with very little, if any, experience.

The aim of this unit is to enable the candidate to know the basic principles of electrical science. This knowledge provides the foundation for electrical installations which can be applied when designing wiring systems for clients and when inspecting and testing electrical installations.
