This course was known as the City & Guilds 2394 and 2395. The course is a combination of the City and Guilds 2391-50 (Initial Verification) and 2391-51 (Periodic Inspection and Testing) training courses and allows candidates to complete the qualification online and only attending a centre for the exam.

This qualification helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to carry out inspection and testing on electrical installations. The course covers appropriate legislation, inspection and testing techniques, completing and issuing certificates or reports and understanding of results and measurements.​

 

This course is accessible for a maximum of 6 months

Assessment methods for the 2391-52 course include a short-written examination, an open book online multi-choice exam consisting of 60 questions and a practical assessment on a simulated installation and visual inspection.

Current course examination centres (offered by XS Training) are – Bradford, Bristol, Bury St Edmunds, Harlow, Hull, Nottingham, Warrington and Waterlooville (Portsmouth). The final exam is not included in this course but can be booked by the candidate when you are ready.
